Terms of use
Last updated 29 September 2026.
These terms are between you and BAOC INVESTMENTS LLC, trading as Rogy Technologies and they cover the MockStop app, the website and the organization portal. By using MockStop you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.
What MockStop is for
MockStop is practice. An officer we wrote asks you questions in English, you answer out loud, and we tell you how it went. That is the whole product.
Your score is a training indicator. It is not an official English proficiency assessment and it does not predict the result of any inspection. Nobody is obliged to accept it, it proves nothing to an employer, and it is not a qualification.
Practice before an inspection. Do not use MockStop to answer questions during an English proficiency assessment. That is our instruction about what this product is for, not a legal opinion about what you are permitted to do.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18. MockStop is built for holders and students of a commercial driver's licence.
Where MockStop's content comes from
The officer's words are ours. Every question the officer asks was written by MockStop. No government agency publishes a script for a roadside stop or a weigh station, and nobody should tell you otherwise. What we take from official sources is the subject — what an inspection covers, what an inspector may ask you to do — and then we write practice around it.
What we read directly. Anything in MockStop that makes a claim about how an inspection works traces to one of these:
-
FMCSA Enforcement Glossary —
ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/EnforcementPrograms/Glossary. Read 25 September 2026. Source for what a roadside inspection is, what a Level III inspection is, and what an out-of-service violation means. -
FMCSA ELD data transfer FAQ —
eld.fmcsa.dot.gov/FAQ/Topics?name=Data_Transfer. Read 25 September 2026. Source for what an inspector may ask you to do with your ELD, the two transfer methods a device can support, and the rule that you must be able to show a display or a printout if a transfer cannot be completed.
What we deliberately do not tell you. Some things we could not read from an official source we could reach, so MockStop does not teach them:
- Which documents a Level III examines, and in what order. The FMCSA glossary defines a Level III by pointing at a CVSA procedure rather than listing its contents. We could not retrieve that procedure, so we do not enumerate it.
- Which buttons to press on your ELD. The FMCSA FAQ is explicit that the steps are specific to each device. MockStop practises understanding and answering the request. Your own ELD manual governs the rest.
- Your truck's weight, or any axle-weight limit. MockStop never invents a number for your vehicle and does not teach a universal limit, because there isn't one — it depends on your configuration and the jurisdiction.
- How long an inspection takes, or how likely you are to be selected. We have no source for either, so we say nothing.
What MockStop is not. It is an independent practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by the U.S. DOT, FMCSA or CVSA.
Nobody qualified has reviewed this content yet. No former commercial vehicle inspector or CDL instructor has reviewed the question bank. We track this per question and this sentence will change when it stops being true.
Your account
You can practise without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in code to yourself — anybody with it can read your practice history. Tell us if you think somebody else has access.
You may delete your account at any time, in the app, and it happens immediately. What that does and does not remove is set out in the privacy policy.
Paying for MockStop
Some features are paid. Prices are shown before you buy and are charged by our payment processor; we never see your card number.
- A monthly plan renews until you cancel it. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.
- A fixed-length pass does not renew. It runs out on its end date and we email you before it does.
- Organization licences are billed per seat on the terms agreed in the portal.
You can cancel in the app or the portal at any time. If we fail to deliver what you paid for, email support@mockstopapp.com. Tax is added where it applies.
What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute MockStop or its content, including the question bank.
- Scrape, bulk-download or copy the question bank, or use it to train a model.
- Share one account or one seat between several drivers.
- Interfere with the service, get around its limits, or attempt to reach data that is not yours.
- Use MockStop to break the law, or during an actual assessment.
What you write
Real Stop Reports and suggestions are yours. You give us permission to use them to run and improve MockStop, including showing anonymised, aggregated patterns — a state and a week and a topic — to other drivers. We never attach your name or your account to them.
Do not include anybody's personal details in a report, including an officer's. We may remove anything that does, or anything abusive or unlawful, and we do not promise to keep what you submit.
Our content
MockStop, its question bank, its training material and its branding belong to BAOC INVESTMENTS LLC. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own practice for as long as these terms are kept.
Interruptions and changes
We will try to keep MockStop available and we do not promise it always will be. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you have paid for, we will refund the part you have not used.
No warranty, and the limit of what we owe you
MockStop is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose — including any purpose connected to an inspection, an employer, or your licence.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that happens at an actual inspection, for any employment or licensing consequence, or for lost earnings. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you have paid us nothing. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending this
You can stop using MockStop and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.
Changes to these terms
If we change them we will change the date at the top, and we will tell you in the app if a change materially affects what you are paying for or what you are agreeing to.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction.
